The word “Temecula’ is an old Native American word translated by the Spanish to mean: “Where the sun breaks through the mist.
"Long before the first grapevine ever grew here, this land was horse and cattle country. Our Families have worked this land and ridden these trails long before us. Our sons, daughters and grandchildren will ride them long after we are gone.
We are the Temecula Valley Horsemen’s Association. A dedicated collective of professionals protecting the Equestrian traditions of the Temecula Valley and creating new opportunities for future generations to come.
We celebrate the gift of life. The ones we’ve lost, will forever be missed. Protecting the Temecula Valley, “Where the sun breaks through the mist.”
Early in the 1900s, new roads helped to open up Temecula to the outside world. Since then we’ve started the good fight to protect our way of life. Today we strive to preserve the Equestrian community of Temecula. Thousands of acres of generational ranches still rising with the sun, honing our craft.
We are honored to represent Temecula in the 2022 Tournament of Roses Parade. Click below to learn more about us!
